Smart Lock Access Control

We've just launched smart lock integration for Jammed — and it's a big one.

You can now connect internet-connected or time-based smart locks to your rooms on Jammed and manage access automatically when customers book. Here's how it works: a customer books and pays through Jammed, and they receive a unique access code by email or via the Jammed phone app. The code is time-limited to their booking window, so it only works when it's supposed to.

Each door in your studio can have its own lock assigned, and locks can be grouped together so customers get access to exactly what they've booked — nothing more, nothing less.

Why this matters

If you've ever wanted to run an unattended studio, offer out-of-hours bookings to trusted regulars, or just stop dealing with keys and lockboxes, this is the feature for you. It removes a huge chunk of admin and opens up your space to earning revenue at times when you wouldn't normally have staff on-site.
