Crown Lane Studios helps support its community in Morden, South London, creating spaces accessible to all. With many studio users, business and events, John was looking for a booking system that fit in with his business and that was easy for everyone to use.

Before Jammed, Crown Lane Studios' used to take bookings through calls and tried four other online booking systems. These methods kept Crown Lane Studios from reaching their potential, as they were unreliable and caused admin problems. John was recommended Jammed by a studio user and with the offer of a trial period gave Crown Lane the opportunity to try Jammed without risks. With the trial period they were able to have their uncertainties cleared, questions answered, and resulted in a personalised system that fulfilled their needs.

I wanted something that was for us and that was unique. And then I realised when somebody else says, you know, well this one's brilliant, it works well, it looks great, and it's very simple. So we had a look at it and … it had a trial period … of a month I decided by day two … this was definitely where we were going. It … didn't take you much convincing.

Jammed keeps Crown Lane up to date with booking statistics

Jammed keeps Crown Lane well informed, showing useful information like how many times each user has booked, which not only helps with their KPI’s but helps them find their most loyal customers allowing them to give better services and offers.

I love the feature … where you can see how many times each user’s been…When you see how many … you can be really generous to those bands as well when they're in and be able to offer them things,... you can buy more Guinness for them and things…that's a lovely feature.

There's people who've been coming to our studio for years and years, and I only known them as “Robert”, and all of a sudden, their band name is popped up which I wouldn't have known before which has been a really lovely touch to learn all the band names because we can't always sit in sessions with them. So that's been a really nice personal touch to it.

One person…will often be in multiple bands and they will be booking under different bands names. And so for us we get to see the different bands they’re in rather than just thinking that they're in every night with the same band. We've been able to approach our marketing differently as a result.

Jammed makes editing a booking an easy task with no need to use other resources, everything can be done directly through Jammed, saving admin time and improving productivity.

The Jammed site … makes it so much easier for me as a business manager to then go through and change people's bookings… In previous ones … you've had to completely shut down a booking. Go through, cancel it, refund it through… a banking site. Then try and rebook them again hoping that nobody else has booked in that time…Jammed just makes it so easy that you can just then edit [the] session and change the time, change the room that they want to go into.
